About
Welcome!
Battle Ready Princess is a place where Christian women will find encouragement and help in the battles they face. I’m Marian Gordon and I’m here to let you know that you are not alone in your struggles, and to point you toward a hopeful future.
My goal is to inspire modern day Esthers who stand for the Faith.
On average, I try to post once a week. I’ll share with you open and honest accounts of the battles I’ve been through, and what I’m learning from them along the way.
Here’s a sample of what you’ll find here:
- Dear Sisters, We are all called to fight
- How a Princess prepares for spiritual warfare
- 8 Scriptures for when you feel alone
- Pulling down strongholds

Who I am:
I’m a preacher’s kid, born and raised in the south, a homeschool graduate, and daydreamer.
In 1997, I married my high school sweetheart. The lord blessed us with 5 children along the way.
In 2013, our world was turned upside down when my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer. Almost exactly 3 years later, he lost his battle and went into the arms of his savior.
To say there have been battles since then, would be an understatement. But God gives grace for every trial, and He gives strength as we need it.
I started this Blog in 2015 with the hope of encouraging Christian Women to put on the armor of God and make use of the strength God has for them.
I often hear comments like, “I don’t know how you do it.” My answer is always the same: Jesus. He is my strength, He gives comfort where it is needed, and grace to face the toughest situations.
I hope you’ll join me in this journey to become Battle Ready Princesses, women of God who fight the good fight of faith.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1:9
